While face masks might remind you of girly sleepovers during your teenage years, this beauty treatment shouldn't be underestimated.
When it comes to revitalising the complexion, there's no better way to cleanse pores and nourish dehydrated skin. And if you're prone to spots? This mask from Neal's Yard Remedies uses green clay to draw out impurities and absorb excess oil.
To make one mask, you will need...
1 tbsp powdered green clay
1tbsp glycerin
1 tsp lavender floral water
Follow these steps...
1. Place the powdered clay, glycerin and floral water in a bowl.
2. Using a fork, mix into a paste. The paste should be thick enough for you to spread or brush evenly. If the mixture is too runny add more clay. Use immediately or it will dry out.
Then apply!
Apply the mask to freshly cleansed skin with the fingertips or with a clean foundation brush, avoiding the delicate eye area. Leave on for 10 minutes, but do not allow to dry. Remove with warm water and pat skin dry with a clean towel.
