Former ‘Brookside’ star Mark Moraghan is set to join the cast of ‘Coronation Street’, it has been confirmed.
The actor will play Eileen Grimshaw’s boyfriend, who arrives in the street after meeting Eileen online.

Mark announced his new ‘Corrie’ role on Twitter, sharing a snap of himself in the Rovers, with the caption: “Had a great 1st week up North. Thanks to a wonderful cast & crew for making me welcome x.”
Eileen hasn’t exactly had much luck with relationships in the past, and her recent romance with firefighter Paul didn’t end well.
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, there’s plenty of other drama, at the moment, with teen Faye trying to hide her pregnancy from her family.
The show’s first ever teen mum Sarah-Louise Platt is also set to return to the street, with her daughter Bethany.
