Sean Penn plays Martin Terrier, an international operative forced to cut links with the people he cares about following a top-secret assassination operation. Years later, still afflicted with PTSD, he wants out so he can settle down with his longtime love, but is forced to go on the run to clear his name and escape those whose interests will be best served by his permanent silence.
