Gangsta's Paradise By Coolio Gets A 1920s Makeover In Vintage-Style Cover

Coolio Would Be Very Happy With This Cover Of Gangsta's Paradise

YouTube cover artist Scott Bradlee has released Postmodern Jukebox's latest re-working of a modern classic.

The track takes Coolio's 90s rap hit Gangsta's Paradise back to the days of prohibition and Al Capone, giving it a totally different spin.

This 1920s-style song features all the original lyrics in a swinging rendition of the classic rap tune.

Coolio himself would certainly be happy with this re-worked version of the song, while he devotes most of his time to his new cookbook empire.

The hip hop legend has appeared in two installments of Big Brother since the end of the 90s rap boom, and took part in Food Network's reality cooking show 'Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off'.

He also took part in 'Celebrity Wife Swap', prompting his girlfriend at the time to leave him shortly after filming.

Another piece of post-fame exposure for Coolio came in the form of a celebrity edition of coin-pushing UK quiz show 'Tipping Point'.
