During the second episode, Michelle’s character agrees to be a drug mule in exchange for a two week holiday in the Dominican Republic.
But things don’t go according to plan when one of them is waved onto the plane while the other is called into customs for an x-ray.
Her former ‘Corrie’ co-star Antony Cotton tweeted: “How good was my girl @michkeegan?! Brilliant episode of #OrdinaryLies @RedProductionCo. Loved it @michaelaecc.”
Former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was also rather impressed, tweeting: “So great seeing u on to pastures new tonight @michkeegan....ur a wee belter girl...so great catching up recently. Girls night out soon!!!”
And the critics agreed, with The Independent praising Michelle for proving she’s ‘more than just the Rovers Return barmaid'.
