Choupette Lagerfeld has already been hailed the most stylish pet in the world. Now, she's also the richest.
In an interview with The Cut, Choupette's owner Karl Lagerfeld discussed the "miracle" story of his Siamese cat and revealed she has made millions (yes, really) of pounds over the last year.
"She did two jobs and made 3 million euros last year," the 81-year-old fashion designer said. "One was for cars in Germany and the other was for a Japanese beauty product. I don't allow her to do foodstuffs and things like this. She's too sophisticated for that."
The jobs Karl is referring to are a collaboration with make up brand Shu Uemura and a photo shoot with Vauxhall. Fast forward a few months and Choupette (and Karl) is over £2 million richer.
