Lost Your Phone? Just Google It

Google has launched a brand new feature that allows you to literally search 'find my phone' into the search engine and see your phone appear on a map.

The handy new feature will work if a) you have an Android phone and b) you're logged into Google with the same account as the phone.

It really is as simple as just typing in 'Find my phone' and then watching it pop up on a map. If you're worried it's lost within a building or you want someone to grab it you can also tell Google to make the phone ring.

This won't offer the same functionality as the Android Device Manager, so sadly you won't be able to lock the device or wipe it, but the convenience of building it right into Google's search bar means that it'll almost certainly become a lifesaver for those of us with forgetful minds.
