'Britain's Got Talent': Boyband To Sing In Semi-Finals? Simon Cowell Looking For Pop Group That Can Dance

Simon's Got Big Plans For Boyband...

Simon Cowell is hoping to turn ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ hopefuls Boyband into the next big all-singing all-dancing pop act, according to Amanda Holden.

Spilling some behind the scenes gossip during a discussion on ‘This Morning’, she revealed that the music mogul had been quizzing the dance troupe about their singing ability after their audition.

The thing with that, Amanda, is that we don’t need a new Five (or, indeed, 5ive), because they’re still kicking around - just because they’ve shed a few members in recent years and should now probably be known as Three doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy their contribution to the world of music.

*ahem*

Over the weekend, Boyband became the second act to receive the golden buzzer, when Ant and Dec were so impressed by their routine to Mark Ronson’s ‘Uptown Funk’, they automatically gave the group a fast pass to the live semi-finals.

Other acts to impress on the night included schoolboy singer/songwriter Henry Gallagher and magician Jamie Raven, who stunned the judges with his act.

Simon's record label currently looks after One Direction, who have gone on to become one of the biggest musical acts in the world since their formation on 'The X Factor', as well as 'BGT' sensation Susan Boyle.
