The first Eurovision semi-final has taken place in Vienna, with Albania, Belgium and Georgia among the acts making it through to Saturday’s Song Contest final.
Along with Austria, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia - yes, Australia - the UK are automatically granted a place in each Eurovision final. However the remaining countries have to battle it out for their spot.

Armenia, Estonia, Greece and Hungary also saw their acts go through to the next round, along with Romania, Russia and Serbia.
Those who weren’t so lucky were Belarus, Denmark, The Netherlands, Finland, Moldova and Macedonia.
The second semi-final will take place on Thursday 21 May, and Cyprus, Poland and Lithuania’s acts will be among those hoping to book their place in Saturday’s grand final.
