The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress said “I do” with the reality star and radio DJ on Sunday afternoon, in a lavish ceremony at St Mary’s Church in Suffolk.
The Mirror have reported that Mark cried tears of joy as his new wife walked down the aisle, with a chorister telling the newspaper: “Mark was a little emotional. It was a lovely service.”
Although there are currently no photos of either Mark or Michelle on their big day - almost as if they’re saving them for a magazine photo-shoot or something… - several snaps of the guests on their way to the wedding show that the event was particularly star-studded.
Several of Michelle’s former ‘Corrie’ co-stars, including Antony Cotton and Brooke Vincent, were in attendance, while also on the guestlist were cast members of ‘The Only Way Is Essex’, including Mark’s good friend, James ‘Arg’ Argent, who attended with his on-off girlfriend, Lydia Bright.
Arg told the newspaper: “It was fantastic - very beautiful.”
Michelle is said to have had seven bridesmaids, including Mark’s sister, Jessica Wright, who preceded her down the aisle wearing ivory blue dresses.
Inspired by the couple’s roots - with Michelle hailing from Manchester, and Mark being born and raised in Essex - the reception is thought to have had a “north-south divide” theme, with fish and chips being available for guests, as well as pie.
Entertainment at the reception was provided by Mark’s former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ professional partner, Karen Hauer.
