The New Look Teletubbies Have Been Revealed!

The new-look Teletubbies have been revealed ahead of the premiere of the reboot, which will be aired later this year.

The kids' TV show is set to return to the BBC, with a “refreshed and contemporary look”, after 14 years off our screens.

This time around, the show’s creators are making a number of updates, with Teletubbyland and Home Hill being “visually enriched, to give a more natural feel”.

A number of British stars have signed up to lend their voices to the project, such as Fearne Cotton, who will be lending hers to the voice trumpets that will be seen popping out of the ground.

Jim Broadbent has also signed up, along with ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ star Jane Horrocks.

The show looks set to win over thousands of new, young fans, however, one person who won’t be watching is its original creator Anne Wood.

Anne previously revealed that she’s actually “sad” about the show being remade, stating: "There are such a lot of programmes being remade and I just feel the children's television industry is worth more than that.

"It would be nice if more encouragement was given to new work."
