A High Court judge has called for more transparency in family court proceedings.
Mr Justice Holman said there was a pressing need for more openness as he ruled on a divorce cash dispute between a former beauty queen and her estranged millionaire husband.
Russian-born Ekaterina Fields and American lawyer Richard Fields fought over the division of assets totalling around £6 million at a trial in the Family Division of the High Court in London last month.
Mr Justice Holman will today announce who will get what at a hearing in London.
The judge was told that Mr Fields, who is based in the United States, was 59 and Mrs Fields, who lives in London, 42.
He heard that they had been married for about a decade and lived in New York.
Mrs Fields was Mr Fields's fifth wife, while Mrs Fields had been married once before.
Both told the judge that they hoped to marry again.
Mr Justice Holman made several unsuccessful attempts to persuade them to settle their differences and avoid a public ''boxing match''. He said divorce court fights were ''awful''.
