This incredible project is breathtakingly beautiful and derives its name from a term used by astronauts known as the 'Overview Effect'. This refers to the feeling that you have when you experience the opportunity to look down and view the Earth as a whole.
Artist Benjamin Grant, who created The Daily Overview, told Wired magazine “What I’m really trying to get across here is that we’ve entered an important time in human history where our home has been significantly altered, when people see the images, they want to know more."
