Chris Evans will return to the chaotic Channel 4 music show this Friday night, 15 years after its last episode aired, with confirmed performers including Liam Gallagher and Roger Daltrey from The Who.
Over the weekend, Chris made headlines when he suggested he was “making a secret ‘Top Gear’ film”, though The Independent have now claimed that he was actually referring to Jeremy’s upcoming appearance on ‘TFI Friday’.

Last month, Jeremy gave his first interview since it was confirmed that he wouldn’t be returning to ‘Top Gear’, during an appearance on Chris Evans’ BBC Radio 2 breakfast show.
Since the confirmation of the controversial TV presenter’s sacking, car enthusiast Chris has repeatedly denied that he’ll be taking the reins of the hit BBC motoring show.

Jeremy’s final ‘Top Gear’ appearances, recorded before his infamous “fracas” with a producer, are due to air in the upcoming weeks, with a trailer for his final two episodes surfacing on Tuesday.
It was also recently claimed that Jeremy’s former co-presenters, Richard Hammond and James May, were planning on turning down a reported offer of £4million to stay with ‘Top Gear’, and instead intend to launch a new show with Jeremy, on a rival channel.
‘TFI Friday’ airs on 12 June on Channel 4.
