Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have split after over a year and a half together, according to reports.
The couple began dating in 2013, and were thought to be planning to get hitched later this year.

However, Us Weekly magazine are now claiming that the actress called time on their relationship, after spending time with Sean in the South Of France for Cannes Film Festival.
The date of their split is not known.
Their relationship initially blossomed after decades of friendship, and both Charlize and Sean previously discussed their decision to take things to the next level.
Sean, who has been married twice before, spoke to Esquire about the prospect of getting hitched again in March, telling the men’s mag: “You say I've been married twice before, but I’ve been married under circumstances where I was less informed than I am today.
“So I wouldn't even consider it a third marriage, I’d consider it a first marriage on its own terms if I got married again. I mean, I like the tradition. A friend of mine wrote a line, ‘Without tradition, new things die.’ And I don’t want new things to die.”
The duo were last pictured together in mid-May, at an event in Vienna.
On 31 May, ‘Mad Max’ star Charlize flew solo to present a gong at the Critics’ Choice Awards in LA.
