England Reach Women's World Cup Semi-Final: Here Are 13 Times We Wished We Were BFFs With The Lionesses

After defeating Canada 2-1, the England squad has made it to the semi-final of the Women's World Cup, proving once and for all that women are pretty kick-ass when it comes to playing football.

And it's not just their skills on the pitch that have made us fall in love with the team.

Here are 13 times we really, really wished we were BFFs with the mighty lionesses:

1. When they proved women are fearless.

2. When they looked dead proud singing the national anthem.
