Last Five Tunisia Victims Back Home

The final five bodies of the Britons killed in the Tunisian beach massacre have landed back in the UK.

The RAF C-17 aircraft carrying the bodies arrived at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire at 3pm.

The Foreign Office confirmed the final victims which have been returned are Lisa Burbidge, Stuart Cullen, Christopher Dyer, Bruce Wilkinson and Claire Windass.

Their coffins are due to be loaded on to hearses and taken in convoy to West London Coroner's Court in Fulham, west London, where inquests into their deaths will be held.

It comes as Tunisia's president declared a state of emergency after the Sousse hotel attack, state media said.

Thirty British people were among the 38 killed by gunman Seifeddine Rezgui on the beach.

Yesterday the Queen and the Prime Minister joined millions of people across the country in a minute's silence in a solemn tribute to those killed.

Today a coroner will continue to open inquests into the deaths of those murdered in the terror attack.

Chinyere Inyama, senior coroner for West London, opened the first inquests into eight of the Britons killed in the tragedy yesterday.

The court heard evidence about the deadly wounds inflicted on the tourists as they holidayed at the resort.
