Tinder has announced that it is launching its own version of Twitter and Facebook's Verified profiles. It'll provide celebrities and athletes with a blue tick to show that their profile is real.
Dating via Tinder is already widely considered to be one of the most awkward things a human being can do, but just to make it that extra bit daunting the company is now letting you know when you're potentially about to match with someone famous.

In a blog post announcing the feature Tinder says:
"Starting today, you may see a verified symbol on some profiles. Now when notable public figures, celebrities and athletes appear in your recommendations, you’ll know it’s for real."
