A teenage girl and her 12-week-old baby, who had been missing for three days, have been found safe and well, police said.
Katie Kelly, 15, and her 12-week-old daughter Kiah-Mae Boyle were found this evening in Northampton and are currently being looked after by officers, Northamptonshire Police said.
Detective Chief Inspector Elliot Foskett, who led the search for Katie and her baby, said he would like to thank the public for the overwhelming response in helping to trace them.
Northamptonshire Police detectives had been "increasingly concerned" for the welfare of Katie and her Kiah-Mae, who had not been seen since 7.30pm on Tuesday.
Her foster mother had appealed to the teenager, from Long Buckby, to let police and family know she is safe.
The search for the pair's whereabouts was expanded to include officers from four different police forces, including West Midlands Police, Lincolnshire Police and British Transport Police.
Yesterday, police said Katie's 18-year-old boyfriend Karl Boyle had also not been heard from since Tuesday night.
They appealed directly to Mr Boyle, urging him to come forward if he had any information.
