Natalia Vodianova's Miss Sixty Adverts Are Making People Feel Nostalgic

Why Natalia Vodianova's Miss Sixty Adverts Are Making People Nostalgic

If Natalia Vodianova's latest adverts for Miss Sixty make you feel nostalgic for the early 2000s but you can't quite put your finger on the reason why, we're here to put you out of your misery.

The supermodel first posed for the Italian denim brand 14 years ago and now Miss Sixty have invited her back on board, as part of a relaunch that may well propel the label back to the popularity of its heyday.

Vodianova is the face of the brand's Autumn/Winter 15 collection and the new advertising campaign sees her dressed in patchwork denim and leather pieces from the Miss Sixty Couture and Miss Sixty mainline ranges.

The 33-year-old was styled by Edward Enninful for the series photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in London's Ambleside House.

As well as the new advertising campaign, the relaunch will see Miss Sixty open three new shops in London (including one in Knightsbridge and another in Westfield White City) over the next year, reports WWD.

Miss Sixty was launched in Italy in 1991 by the late Wichy Hassan and diehard denim fans will remember that Vodaianova first starred in a Miss Sixty campaign back in 2001.

Miss Sixty also shared some behind-the-scene photos from the shoot on Instagram.
