Two In Hospital After Light Aircraft's Emergency Landing In Brecon Beacons

Two people have been taken to hospital after their light aircraft made an emergency landing in the Brecon Beacons.

The pilot and passenger are both being treated in hospital in Swansea after touching down in Powys this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident at 4.15pm today.

Mid and West Fire Service sent three crews to the scene.

A spokesman said: "It was a controlled emergency landing - it wasn't a nosedive out of the sky, or anything like that."

The spokesman was unable to confirm details about the patients or their injuries, although they are not believed to be life-threatening.
