The presenter made an unfortunate error as he tripped over his words while reading out an email.
He was trying to say: “I regularly speak to clients about illness and pass the knowledge onto other clients as well.”
But instead, Bill ended up calling the “other clients”, “c***s”.
While Bill styled out the slip up, it was too late, as one eagle-eyed viewer had already captured the moment on video sharing site Vine.
Twitter also went into meltdown at meek and mild Bill’s colourful language:
There but for the grace of God, he's been up since 3am, but ... what is it with BBC presenters and the C word? :) #billturnbull— Scott Reid (@scottreid1980) July 21, 2015
Odd that Bill Turnbull vine, seemed to deliberate before he used the c-bomb! As if, when he read it out aloud, it would sound different!— Harvs (@HarveytheHornet) July 21, 2015
@billtu By the look on your face @ 8.26 you know what it sounded like you said ! Pmsl Well covered though !!😂😄😅— Steve Brookes (@stevieb5359) July 21, 2015

BBC's Bill Turnbull just 'did a James Naughtie' on Breakfast, was clearly told about it in his ear & gave a 'naughty boy' look to camera :-)— Paul Bentham (@PaulBenthamEsq) July 21, 2015
It’s not the first time an incident like this has happened on the show though, as back in 2012 the BBC were forced to apologise when a voiceover man could be heard asking, "What the f*** is that?" during an item.
‘BBC Breakfast’ airs daily from 6am on BBC One and BBC News.
