ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower Helter Skelter Slide At The Olympic Park Looks Utterly Incredible

The World's Biggest Tunnel Slide Is Coming To London And It Looks Incredible

The UK's largest sculpture is about to get a whole lot more fun when it is transformed into the world's longest tunnel slide.

For the bargain price of £5 visitors to the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower in London's Olympic Park will be able to travel at speeds of up to 15mph from a start 80m up.

The slide will be 50m in length and will snake around Anish Kapoor's unique creation.

So. Much. Fun.

Peter Tudor, director of visitor relations, said: "What more exciting way to descend the ArcelorMittal Orbit than on the world’s longest and tallest tunnel slide?

"We are committed to ensuring our visitors have the best possible day out every time they visit Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and as with all our venues, we are constantly exploring ways to ensure we lead the way with the latest visitor experience.

"This slide really will give a different perspective of Britain’s tallest sculpture."

The attraction will open in Spring but if you can't wait that long to get your Orbit-related thrills it is already possible to abseil down the structure.
