David Walliams and Lara Stone are set to be granted a quickie divorce on Thursday (10 September), according to reports.

Back in March, the couple tried out a “trial separation”, and it has now been claimed that they have filed for divorce at London’s Central Family Court.
If their decree nisi application is approved, their marriage will be dissolved in under six weeks, five years after their wedding.

David and Lara have one child together, a two-year-old son, named Alfred.
A source said to be close to the couple told The Mirror earlier this year: “As far as she is concerned the marriage is finished.
“They’re both devastated that they haven’t been able to make it work."
The comedy actor is said to have been helped through the split by several of his famous friends, with varying reports claiming that James Corden and Catherine Tate have both been there for him in his time of need.
David’s fellow ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ judge Simon Cowell also offered his support, telling reporters around the time of their split: “I said to him, ‘you’re not the only person in this situation.’ That’s a cliché thing to say but it’s true. Don’t feel too sorry for yourself.”
The Calvin Klein model first started dating David in 2009, eventually marrying him just one year later, in a star-studded ceremony, at Claridge’s hotel in London.
