'EastEnders' Spoiler: Is Kush The Real Father Of Stacey's Baby?

EastEnders’ bosses have teased the twists and turns ahead for Stacey Branning’s pregnancy.

MORE 'EASTENDERS':

The paternity of her unborn baby will be questioned in an upcoming storyline featuring Shabnam Masood and Kush Kazemi.

Could Kush be the dad of Stacey's baby?

Viewers are currently under the impression that Martin Fowler (James Bye) is the father of Stacey’s (Lacey Turner) baby, but executive producer Dominic Treadwell Collins has hinted that Kush could be the daddy.

Shabnam and Kush were recently devastated by the death of their son who was stillborn, and viewers will see her grief being to affect her friendship with her pregnant best mate.

"The first story for us is how it puts a strain on your friendship if your best friend is pregnant and you've lost a baby, which I think is a very real story," Dominic told The Sun.

"Underneath that, you have also got the audience starting to realise that the baby may not be Martin's."

Such a development would be a shock to fans, as while they are aware of a romantic spark between Stacey and Kush (Davood Ghadmai), the pair have only shared a handful of kisses on-screen, and it has not been alluded to that they have taken things any further.

The news would also rock his already tempestuous relationship with Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar), as the couple have been struggling in the wake of their son’s death.

This week’s episodes will also see Kush oppose his partner’s decision to fight for custody of her daughter, Jade, who she abandoned as a baby.
