Gemma Collins’ hopes of returning to ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ have been dealt a serious blow, as she has reportedly been blocked from going back into the jungle on medical grounds.

The former ‘TOWIE’ star has been deemed “too vulnerable” to take part in the ITV reality show, after undergoing psych tests that contestants must take.

Gemma was said to have agreed to take part in the new series of ‘I’m A Celeb’, having quit last year’s competition after just 72 hours.
According to The Sun, she is now “gutted” to not be able to return.
“Gemma is gutted because she was desperate to give it another go,” a source told the paper.
“Despite losing weight and brimming with confidence, they felt she still wasn’t strong enough to cope with the demands.
“ITV still want her to be involved with the show in some capacity. They think she’s TV gold.”
Gemma’s time in the jungle was characterised by her fear of almost everything, and at one point, she believed she had contracted malaria.
After leaving the show, she said she was quitting showbiz altogether, but returned to ‘TOWIE’ just weeks later.
Gemma's tears were a constant feature of her jungle stay
She has since quit the ITVBe reality series, telling The Mirror in August: “I truly have had a blast on ‘TOWIE’.
“It’s been so much fun, it’s been dramatic and emotional at times but I’ve loved every minute of it.
“I will really miss all the cast and crew and wish the show continued success.”
It is believed Gemma turned down a place on the last series of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ to take part in ‘I’m A Celeb’.
Her former co-star Ferne McCann has reportedly signed up for next January’s series, making it unlikely Gemma could now sign up for the Channel 5 show.
