Larry David's Bernie Sanders Skit On 'Saturday Night Live' Is Thrilling The Internet

Larry David Takes On The Role He Was Born To Play

He's best known for creating genre-bending sitcom 'Seinfeld' and starring in his own cringe-inducing show 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'.

But now Larry David has taken on the role he was simply born to play: Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Alongside him in the latest sketch is Alec Baldwin, who plays a hesitant Jim Webb and Kate McKinnon, whose Hillary Clinton seemed almost effortless.

But it's David's performance that has people likening it to Tina Fey's famous Sarah Palin impression.

Fey's 2008 rendition of the Alaskan governor remains one of the most biting pieces of political satire in America in recent years.

David worked on 'SNL' in the mid-1980s but had just one sketch picked up by producers.

The former stand-up went on to work with Jerry Seinfeld to co-create the eponymous sitcom, bringing his unique style of observational comedy to the masses.

But now it seems David might have a big role to play during next year's race for the White House.

Larry, we salute you.
