This Chicken Restaurant's Twitter Account Is Run By An Actual Chicken

One of the weirder social media strategies we've seen... A chicken restaurant has trained a hen to run their Twitter account.

Australian fast food chain Chicken Treat has given over their social media passwords to Betty, who composes tweets with her beak when birdfeed is sprinkled over the keyboard.

She hasn't quite got the hang of the English language yet, but when she finally manages to compose a real five-letter word, she'll earn a place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the first chicken to tweet.

She's almost there - the only word she's managed to type out was "bum".

We'll be watching with bated breath to see how things turn out for the newly famous fowl.
