Some Jammie Dodger has stolen £20,000 worth of biscuits in what might be one of the most bizarre thefts yet.

Police in Cwmbran, Wales, are hunting for a man following the theft of a trailer containing thousands of biscuits from Burton’s Food Ltd.

The company manufactures Jammie Dodgers and Wagon Wheels.

Officers now want to speak to 37-year-old Paul Michael Price in connection with the theft.

Price, from the Liverpool area, is known to have links in Stoke and Merseyside.

The BBC reported that a 24-year-old man from Liverpool has been charged in relation to the theft and will appear at Newport Crown Court on 5 November.
