Rebel Wilson has accused the Kardashian family of launching a “smear campaign” against her, following comments she made about them in a recent interview.
For the past week, Rebel has faced a backlash after calling the sisters "superficial", and comparing her “working hard” and going to acting school to Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, which first brought her to the public forefront.

Taking matters into her own hands, Rebel has since set the record straight in a series of frustrated tweets.
She insisted that her remarks about the famous sisters were “prompted”, and claimed she’d even gone as far as sending them flowers since the controversy arose.

Rebel also called for the sisters’ publicist to intervene, and call off what she dubbed the “smear campaign” against her in the media, adding: “In any event, I'm MORE than over this little thing and wish the [Kardashian] clan well.”
Rebel isn’t the first star to hit out at the Kardashians in recent times, with Amy Schumer giving a monologue during her ‘Saturday Night Live’ debut that made more than a passing reference to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie.
"We have to be a role model for these little girls because who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashians," she joked. "She doesn't have a Malala poster in her room -- trust me. And is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women that take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion? Is that great? No."
