Ballet Dancers Strut To Sam Smith In Pointe Shoes, Prove That Ballet Is Seriously Badass

One dance school is out to prove that ballet is the most kick-ass genre of dance there is.

Forget Tchaikovsky, the young dancers at the Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Centre strut to current tracks featuring the likes of Jess Glynne and Sam Smith.

Under choreographer Homer Hans Bryant, the school aims to nurture dancers that are "trained in tradition and dipped in versatility".

Ballet just got sassy.
