Aliona Vilani announced her decision to leave ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ on Tuesday, and the reason for her departure has reportedly now been revealed.

The professional dancer won the latest series with Jay McGuiness last weekend, but she’s now preparing to focus on starting a family with her husband Vincent Kavanagh, according to reports.

When Aliona announced that she’s leaving the show, she remained insistent that she made the decision to quit before this series even kicked off.
Now, a source has told The Sun why, stating: “Aliona loves children and is ready to have a family.
“As much as she loves ‘Strictly’ she doesn’t want to put her plans for a baby on hold any more.
“They are going to start trying straight away.”
Aliona’s now enjoying a well-earned Christmas break with husband Vincent, however during the last few months, she and Jay have repeatedly been forced to deny that they’re more than just dancing partners.
Jay’s most recent denial came following pictures of the pair looking cosy at the ‘Strictly’ wrap party.
During an appearance on ‘Lorraine’, he told the show’s host: “When you dance with someone you have to create romance sometimes, and people then want to see that.
“But a lot of the time the papers create it, but I think no matter what I say, people will write whatever they want to write.”
