Hull McDonald's Shooting: Armed Police In Attendance At Fast Food Chain In St. Andrew's Quay

Manhunt Under Way As Shots Fired Outside Hull McDonald's

Shots were fired and armed police were on the scene in the car park of a McDonald's restaurant in Hull today.

According to eyewitness Darren Woodhead, a car with one person inside was shot at and the suspects quickly fled the scene. Woodhead also provided video footage of the incident:

Humbeside Police have arrested two people in conjunction with the incident.

The suspects are said to be driving a grey Volkswagen Golf and fled the scene towards Gipsyville. The two passengers in the targeted blue Volkswagen Golf are unhurt.

A police spokesperson told the Hull Daily Mail: "A 999 calls was made at 11.35am today (Saturday January 2, 2016), by a member of the public reporting a number shots being fired in the car park of McDonalds Restaurant, St Andrews Quay, Hull.

"An outer cordon has been put in place around the scene of the firearms incident and firearms trained officers, the police helicopter, specialist police dogs and many other supporting departments of the police are in attendance, tracking down the offenders."
