A man will appear in court accused of raping a 12-year-old girl at knifepoint after claiming to be a police officer.
Apedelrazak Badram, 32, has been charged with three sexual offences and two counts of impersonating a police officer, Scotland Yard said.
He is also charged with false imprisonment, two counts of breaching a sexual offences prevention order; possession of class B drugs and theft.
Detectives launched an investigation after a girl was raped by a man pretending to be a police officer in Sandhurst Road, Edmonton, north London, on Wednesday.
The incident was linked to a second assault on another 12-year-old girl, who managed to escape, in nearby Shirley Grove an hour earlier.
Badram, of Enfield, north London, will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Saturday.
