Phillip Schofield had the perfect surprise for birthday girl Holly Willoughby during Wednesday’s (10 February) ‘This Morning’.

As the presenter celebrated turning 35, her co-host had a trick up his sleeve, and had hired a boat to cruise along the River Thames while displaying a message for her.

Phil teased the surprise as Holly danced along to Stevie Wonder’s ‘Happy Birthday’ at the top of the show, before marching her over the the studio’s windows, which overlook the Thames.
She was shocked to see a double decker vessel cruising along with a giant banner, which read: “Happy birthday Holly.”
"There a boat! That's amazing. I've never seen anything like that before!" she said.

"Awww thank you! Well that I was not expecting!" she joked. "You don't need to make a fuss!"
Holly then told viewers of her special plans for the day, once she had finished filming the show.
"I'm going to lunch with my mum, dad and sister and then dinner with Dan. Basically I'm planning on eating my way through the day," she said.
She also shared some images of her getting ready for the show on her Instagram account, which revealed that Schofe had also bought her some birthday cupcakes.
She captioned the snap: “Happy birthday to me!!! Thanks for all your lovely messages xxx.”
