International Women's Day: Richard Herring Spends 24 Hours Correcting Outraged Men

This Comedian Brilliantly Corrects Everyone Who Thinks There's No 'International Men's Day'

International Women's Day is an event to mark the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of those who have been suppressed and unrecognised for centuries.

Remarkably however, there are still men - presumably jealous they never had to fight for the vote, demand an equitable salary or call for proper representation in public life - who can't resist thinking it's all about them...

There is indeed an International Men's Day that focuses on men's and boy's health, improving gender relations and promoting gender equality. It's November 19.

To remedy many people's ignorance of 'International Men's Day' one male British comedian spends the whole of March 8 correcting and firing hilarious replies to the incensed and the outraged.

Richard Herring, a writer and comedian who has worked with personalities including Stephen Merchant, Russell Brand and Stephen Fry, uses the opportunity to put right some wrongs in the world with quite a large dollop of humour.

He's perched with his daughter, Phoebe, literally just trolling the trolls all day.

And it's just excellent.
