'EastEnders' Spoilers: Ross Kemp Reveals Why He Probably Won't Make Another Return As Grant Mitchell

'I think they’re done with me.'

Ross Kemp has revealed the surprising reason why we probably won’t be seeing him back in ‘EastEnders’ as Grant Mitchell again.

The actor has claimed he thinks soap bosses are “done with him”, following his latest stint as the Walford hardman.

Fans of the BBC soap have seen Grant made a number of appearances on the show in recent months, following the death of his on-screen mother, Peggy, played by Barbara Windsor.

His current storyline has seen him discover that he is the real father of Mark Fowler Jr, who he fathered with Michelle Fowler before she fled Albert Square over 20 years ago.

However, he has told Digital Spy that EastEnders’ new executive producer hasn’t asked him to sign up for any future appearances.

Ross, who originally played Grant from 1990 to 1999, admitted that he was not bothered about his lack of invitation, as he is quite happy making his Sky1 documentary series.

Ross’ latest series, ‘Extreme World’ begins tonight (7 September), and the star has penned a blog on The Huffington Post UK about how he was completely unprepared for the subculture of fascism he encountered while filming in Mongolia.
