The first photo of Danny Dyer’s wedding to childhood sweetheart Joanne Mas has been unveiled, on the cover of Hello! magazine.
Danny and Jo tied the knot last weekend after more than 20 years together, having become an item when they were still at school.
The first photo from their intimate ceremony has now been unveiled, showing the ‘EastEnders’ actor in a grey suit with a red waistcoat, while Joanne sports a flamenco-inspired white wedding gown, which she’s paired with an elaborate matching fan.
Speaking about the ceremony, the ‘EastEnders’ actor tells Hello!: “To be standing here with the girl I grew up with – looking so beautiful in her wedding dress – that is a lovely thing. Jo is my best girl – the love of my life. Without her I would be nothing.”
The newly-married couple had help on their big day from Danny’s ‘EastEnders’ co-star Kellie Bright, who plays his on-screen wife Linda Carter, while his sister Kayleigh took on “best woman” duties.
It was previously reported that the pair had an unlikely wedding crasher in the form of Jeremy Clarkson, who’d hoped for a quiet weekend away at the Hampshire venue, only to discover Danny’s wedding was also taking place.
Danny and Joanne got engaged last year, after she popped the question on Valentine’s Day.
He said at the time: “I’m so glad she did it because I don’t think I could have taken the rejection. I love the fact that Jo proposed.”
