David Baddiel Reveals Details Of Time He ‘Almost Had A Threesome’ With Two Spice Girls

Fans of quiz show ‘Would I Lie To You?’ might remember that David Baddiel once revealed he’s kissed two of the Spice Girls - Mel B and Mel C - and the comedian has now given further details on the incident.

His fellow guests were left stunned by the admission, which first came during a 2008 episode of the BBC panel show, and his clarification on what happened is equally unexpected.

Explaining that the incident took place in an LA hotel room, David tells the Mirror: “I was very keen. Mel B was hot. She seemed to be up for it, too.

“I met them in the Four Seasons hotel, where I was talking to film people and they were with Simon Fuller, who was taking them around lots of record company people.

“They were just starting out and they were excited because I was famous.

“So I spent a week in a long flirtation with Mel B. Then this particular night I thought, ‘Right, this is going to happen’.”

“Somehow, two of them ended up in bed with me, but I didn’t end up having sex with either of them because they made so much noise and the hotel security threatened to throw me out,” he continues. “I’m not talking about orgasmic noise, I’m talking about girl power, having a laugh, ‘Wannabe’ kinda noises. And when I asked them to stop, they just did it more.

“So I didn’t get very far with either of them. I just said, ‘No, I think we’re not doing this’, but I regret it now.

“I regret not really telling them to be quiet so that at least I could say, ‘I had a threesome with the Spice Girls’.

“That would have been the most 1990s thing in the world, wouldn’t it?”

Yes, David. Yes it would.

Unsurprisingly, when David first discussed the um, gathering, on ‘Would I Lie To You?’, his rival team were pretty certain it was a lie with Lee Mack declaring: “If he had snogged Mel B and Mel C, I would have read that somewhere.

“I’m going to say that he’s lying.”
