Tonight (Friday 21 October) we will finally find out, but in the run-up to the emotionally-charged episode, we asked you for your thoughts on who we’ll be saying goodbye to.
Over 6,000 readers voted in our poll and we can now reveal that 24% of you think James Barton will be the one who takes his last breathe, following the car crash drama.
Close behind is Ashley Thomas, whose car was the first to crash, when James landed on it, with 10% of voters predicting he will die, while Emma Barton and Pierce Harris earned 17% of the votes each.
7% of readers voted for Aaron Dingle, while 6% chose Paddy Kirk and just 4% went for Robert Sugden.
The whole week of episodes has been praised by fans, and Thursday’s 15 car pile-up certainly lived up to the hype.
It hasn’t just been about huge stunts and action-packed scenes though, and some of the week’s best moments have included just two or three characters sharing a tender moment.
