Steven Gerrard’s wife is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child.
Alex Gerrard shared a black and white photo of her three daughters all clutching a photo of the baby scan on Twitter on 28 October.
“We are all very excited for our new baby to arrive next year,” she wrote. “Number four.”
The mum didn’t shield her excitement, adding a line of hearts, babies and baby bottle emojis on the tweet.
The couple are already parents to 12-year-old Lilly-Ella, 10-year-old Lexie and four-year-old Lourdes.
Fans were quick to assume the couple would be rooting for a boy this time around.
The professional footballer shared the news with his fans by posting a photo of him and his wife on his Instagram account.
“Blessed to have three beautiful daughters and now we have another on its way,” he wrote. “Happy days 😘 #family.”
