The new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ is just weeks away, and former footballer Wayne Bridge is the latest star rumoured to have signed up.
The ex-England star has reportedly signed a deal with ITV, who are hoping he might open about the infamous John Terry saga, during which he allegedly had an affair with Wayne’s then-girlfriend Veronica Perroncel, in 2010.
A source tells the Sun: “Wayne never really sought fame when he was a footballer so it’s surprising he agreed to go in the jungle.
Wayne has never commented on Veronica’s alleged affair, but just weeks after the news broke in 2010, his team Manchester City met with Terry’s Chelsea, and Wayne famously refused to shake his former teammate’s hand.
He has since found happiness with former The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge - née Sandford - and the couple now have two children together.
