Two teenage girls have died after being struck down by a car while out jogging.
Hampshire police said the victims, who have not been named, were out running when they were hit by a black Ford Focus in Aldershot at around 7.10pm on Tuesday.
A 24-year-old man, thought to be the driver, has been arrested and remains in police custody.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: "No-one else was hurt and inquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of what happened."
Specially trained officers are supporting the girls' families.
