Inquest Into Deaths Of Four Friends Who Died In Crash Returning From Festival

An inquest into the deaths of four young people who died while travelling back from a festival will take place today.

Brogan Warren, 21, Sam Kay, 26, Nicoletta Tocco, 25, and Sam Jones, 23, died in the collision on the A40 Shrivenham bypass, Oxfordshire, at 11.15pm on May 22.

The group are believed to have been travelling back from Bristol festival VegFest at the time.

Their Citroen Saxo, driving towards Oxford, collided head-on with a black Mercedes travelling in the opposite direction.

All four friends in the Citroen were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The three occupants of the Mercedes, a male driver, female passenger in her 30s and three-year-old boy, were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The inquests of Miss Warren, Mr Kay, Miss Tocco and Mr Jones will take place at Oxford Coroner's Court today.
