‘Strictly Come Dancing’: Ed Balls Performs 'Gangnam Style' One Last Time Because Why Not

Now this is a man who knows what 2016 needs.

If, like us, you’re still in the first stages of grief following Ed Balls’ exit from ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, then this clip from Monday’s (28 November) ‘It Takes Two’ should help.

The politician-turned-dancefloor juggernaut appeared on the spin-off programme with his partner Katya Jones, and the pair had one last treat for fans.

Yes, they did ‘Gangnam Style’ again:

Seriously, is there no way he can just dance on our screens every Saturday night? Is a Kickstarter campaign out of the question?

During the show, Ed reflected on his ‘Strictly’ stint, thanking his wife Yvette Cooper and Jeremy Vine - who took part in the programme last year - for convincing him to give it a go.

“In retrospect, at the time, I had no idea what he meant.

“I think the first one was the Charleston, where I began to understand, and then ‘The Mask’… You’ve just got to commit and go for it. I’ve learned so much.”

Ed also addressed claims that he might be signing up for the ‘Strictly Live!’ tour, admitting that it is a possibility, so let’s all just keep our fingers crossed for that.

In the meantime, here’s that ‘The Mask’-themed Samba in full, for one last time...
