AKA says a report claiming he's cheating on his media personality girlfriend Bonang Matheba is "bullsh*t".
The rapper (real name Kiernan Forbes) told ThisaLive that he and Matheba's relationship could not be any stronger.
"It is not true. The claims are ridiculous. Someone just took a picture with my car and now I am cheating? I read the article and I think it is bullsh*t. In fact, I want anyone with pictures proving she was at the boxing with me to come forward," AKA told the publication.
A report by Sunday Sun claimed that the "baddest (sic) hitmaker... was seeing video vixen and club host, Nicole Nyaba, behind Matheba's back".
According to the newspaper, Nyaba has denied the alleged affair.
Following the report, tweeps could barely help themselves, taking to the social media platform to share spicy reactions:
The couple made headlines two years ago when they made their relationship public following AKA's breakup from the mother of his child, Zinhle Jiyane, otherwise known as DJ Zinhle. Prior to the breakup, they had been seeing each other behind Jiyane's back.
PR Stunt?
AKA is no stranger to PR stunts. In January he went on a rant on Twitter claiming to have had enough of Matheba. He said they had broken up.
Days later, it came to light that there was no breakup, after all, but just a stunt orchestrated to create a hype for new music.
Some social media users also questioned whether the rumour could have been an "inside job":
If this is no stunt, we are still relieved that there is no truth to the rumours because, say what you will about these lovebirds, they do look like they're in love and we are all about love, yo!
