Two pedestrians killed after they were hit by a car have been named by police as a married couple.
Sandra Dangerfield, 66, and her 72-year-old husband Michael died after the collision in the village of Meden Vale near Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, at about 1.25pm on Saturday.
Nottinghamshire Police released a photograph of the couple smiling together and said family members had asked for privacy at this difficult time.

An investigation into the exact circumstances of the crash in Netherfield Lane is continuing.
However, in statement the police said on Sunday: “Detectives are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident but are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dash cam footage to contact them on 101, quoting incident 450 of 14 October.”
