Man Held In ‘Murder’ Inquiry Following Brawl At Bedsit

A 41-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was fatally injured during a brawl at a bedsit.

The victim had been beaten unconscious at an address in Birmingham on Tuesday evening, and later died at the scene.

West Midlands Police officers had been called to the multi-occupancy house in Mansell Road, Small Heath, at about 7.10pm, following reports of disorder.

The 41-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday night and remains in police custody.

The force said they are looking for nobody else in connection with the incident.
