Four masked robbers have been captured on camera smashing their way into a home in the middle of the day before making off with some jewellery.
The hooded group forced two teenagers to lie on the floor of the property in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, while they demanded money and jewellery, West Midlands Police (WMP) said.
The footage, released by the force, shows a black 3 series BMW reversing up a sloping driveway on February 16 at around 4.30pm.
One of the group is then seen smashing their way through a door using a sledgehammer.
A vehicle of the same make was seen 15 minutes later driving “at speed” down Hillwood Common Road towards Lichfield Road, police said.
Detective Constable Nigel Box said: “This was in broad daylight at a busy time of day when many people would have been returning home from work or school.
“I would urge anyone who might have seen the BMW or has any information to get in touch.
“The boys in the address at the time are understandably upset and shaken but luckily they were not hurt. Help us find these individuals.”
Anyone with information should call West Midlands Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
