2015 has certainly been a year full of accomplishment, but it's also been tainted by worry. But this New Year girly, you're planning a more relaxed, happy-go-lucky 12 months! If you can try and stick to at least a couple of these New Year's resolutions, you'll be well on your way to an awesome 2016.

1) Stop With The Mummy Guilt

You've done a good job beating yourself up for various things over the past 12 months. It's time to stop that now. You have a happy, healthy family and your boy is thriving. You're doing a good job and you need to remember that. Your guilt is all in your head and it's time to let it go. You'll be a better Mummy because of it.

2) Plan Your Weeks Ahead More

You have a busy schedule. It's sometimes hard to keep on top of it all, but you know it is possible. Things slipped in November and December, but it's a fresh year and it's time to get organized! Make time to plan your week ahead - food shopping, meal schedule, events schedule, etc - it'll make you feel more organized, less stressed, and more in control. You'll also have more time to spend with your little guy, which will help greatly with resolution number one!

3) Spend Quality Time With Your Husband

Speaking of time, carve out more for your husband. He is your partner in crime, your rock and your best friend. Time spent together with your son as Mummy and Daddy is bliss, but time spent as husband and wife is so important too. Enjoy your date nights and your TV snuggle nights. Talk, laugh, and stay close!

4) Put The Phone Away

It's all about quality time when you're with your boy. Your time is for him. So put down the damn phone!! Emails can wait. Facebook can most certainly wait. Smartphones are a pandemic sucking parental presence. Enjoy the moment more. If you must insist on having your phone, use it to take pictures of him.

5) Exercise More

Yes yes, well aware this is on the list every year, but seriously, get off your bum! A once a week jog and yoga session is all I'm asking. You'll feel better for it, trust me.

6) Stop Worrying About The Future

Who knows what is round the corner. Who knows where you'll be this time next year. You can only control it to a certain degree, so loosen the reins and just enjoy the ride!

Truly, sincerely, respectfully and annoyingly,

Your Conscience
